My goal is to go to Christian divinity school next semester. If there is one individual you would like featured please email me his or her information to neverforgottenfallensoldiers@gmail.com. Army Sgt. 1st Class Hughton O. Brown - Nov 14, Operation Freedom's Sentinel
Houghton, 43, joined the army in August 1997, deployed to Iraq in 2011, and to Kuwait this year. Brown was assigned to the Army Reserve at the 306th Engineer Company in Farmingdale, New York as a maintenance supervisor. He passed at Camp Buehring and has been awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Badge. Brown was born in Jamaica and collapsed during a two mile jog with colleagues. “A role model and a mentor for many soldiers, even for those not in his beloved maintenance team, he was sought out for his wisdom and knowledge,” said Capt. John Hasselius, the commander of the 306th Engineer Company. source: http://thefallen.militarytimes.com/army-sgt-1st-class-hughton-o-brown/6568728 http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/army-sergeant-brooklyn-dies-iraq-border-base-article-1.3640252
